Prince Charles offers an alternative program designed to provide the educational needs for urban First Nations, Metis and Inuit students. Approximately 93% of the students attending are of Indigenous ancestry.
Students in grades 1 -6 take Cree as a second language and all students and families are invited to participate in cultural ceremonies and celebrations.
All K-6 students can participate in the nutrition program provided through the Edmonton City Center Church Corporation (E4C) and parent contributions. Community partnerships with the Ben Calf Robe Society, Family Centre, Bent Arrow, and Urban Spirit Rotary Club have been established to support students and families.
